ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - Trot Nixon had a key two-run double and every Boston starter had a hit in a 6-5 victory Sunday that gave the Red Sox their first series win in Texas since 2000.
While the Red Sox had 13 hits, none of the first nine drove in runs. Boston's first three runs came on a fielder's choice, a grounder and then a sacrifice fly by Bill Mueller in the fifth that tied the game.
After Mueller's sac fly, Kevin Youkilis made it 4-3 with an RBI single. Nixon followed an out later with his double into the right-center field gap to cap the four-run inning.
