MILWAUKEE (AP) - Chicago Cubs outfielder Corey Patterson was ejected in the sixth inning Tuesday night for throwing his helmet into right field after arguing a call.
First-base umpire Bob Davidson called Patterson out on a close play at first in the Cubs' game against the Milwaukee Brewers.
Patterson argued, and was joined by manager Dusty Baker. Patterson then started walking to the Cubs dugout, but turned and tossed his helmet into right field, drawing the ejection from Davidson.
