DENVER (AP) - The Colorado Rockies traded outfielder Michael Restovich to Pittsburgh for a player to be named on Tuesday and claimed relievers Blaine Neal and Randy Williams off waivers.
Neal, a right-hander, was on Boston's opening day roster after being traded from San Diego for outfielder Adam Hyzdu on March 22. He was 0-1 with a 9.00 ERA in eight relief appearances before being designated for assignment on May 8.
Neal is 4-2 with a 4.94 ERA in 102 career games with Florida, San Diego and Boston.
