 BALTIMORE (AP) - Afleet Alex has arrived at Pimlico Race Course, where he will be among the favorites in the Preakness after finishing third in the Kentucky Derby.
The colt was shipped from Louisville, a trip that took 13 hours. He settled into his barn shortly before 6 p.m. Wednesday.
"Once we get everything set up tomorrow, it will be back to work for him," trainer Tim Ritchey said. "He came out of the Derby in great shape.
