BELEM, Brazil (AP) - American Brian Lewis won the 100 meters at the Brazilian Grand Prix on Sunday, while countryman Jimmie Hackley won the 200.
Lewis clocked 10.22 seconds, upsetting J.J. Johnson, who finished third in 10.28. Jamaica's Michael Frater finished second in 10.26. Hackley posted a winning time of 20.49 to beat Brazil's Andre Domingos, who finished in 20.55.
In other events, fan-favorite Jadel Gregorio edged Walter Davis of the United States to win the triple jump. Gregorio, fifth in the Athens Olympics, jumped 57 feet, 1 inch, while Davis lept 56-8 3/4.
