LONDON (AP) - The U.S. dollar was mixed against other major currencies in European trading Tuesday. Gold down.
The euro was quoted at $1.2582, down from $1.2583 Monday. Later, in midday trading in New York, the euro fetched $1.2586.
Other dollar rates compared with late Monday, included 107.50 Japanese yen, down from 107.63; 1.2293 Swiss francs, down from 1.2296; and 1.2594 Canadian dollars, up from 1.2581.
