(AP Photo/Eranga Jayawardena)KALMUNAI, Sri Lanka (AP) - Former President Clinton on Saturday endorsed a proposal by Sri Lanka's president to share tsunami aid with the Tamil rebel group that controls parts of the country's north and east.

Clinton, recently appointed U.N. special envoy for tsunami recovery, was here on the second leg of a four-nation tour to ensure that billions of dollars are distributed properly. He arrived Friday from neighboring India.
