SAN ANTONIO (AP) - Joe Johnson's return wasn't the emotional difference the Phoenix Suns hoped it would be. Wearing a mask to protect his fractured left eye socket, Johnson put up decent numbers Saturday night in Game 3 of the Western Conference finals against San Antonio, finishing with 15 points, three assists and two rebounds in 37 minutes.
But Johnson, the Suns' best perimeter defender, struggled all night to keep up with Tony Parker at the other end.
Johnson had said he wanted to make it tough on the Spurs' point guard, but over and over Parker took him inside and left him behind on screens for easy baskets in San Antonio's 102-92 victory.
