LOS ANGELES (AP) - The Chicago Cubs recalled left-hander John Koronka from Triple-A Iowa to start against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday night in his major league debut.
To make room on their roster, the Cubs optioned right-hander Jon Leicester to Iowa.
The 24-year-old Koronka was 4-5 with a 4.73 ERA in 10 appearances with Iowa — nine of them starts. He was 12-9 with a 4.34 ERA for Iowa in 2004.
