ATLANTA (AP) - The Atlanta Braves' injury woes continued Wednesday when catcher Eddie Perez returned to the 15-day disabled list with right shoulder tendinitis after being active for only one day.
Perez came off the disabled list to be active for Tuesday night's game against the Los Angeles Angeles, but he still is bothered by ongoing soreness in the shoulder.
Perez was needed because the Braves' starting catcher, Johnny Estrada, spent Monday night in Atlanta's Piedmont Hospital with a mild concussion following a home-plate collision with the Angels' Darin Erstad in Monday's game.
