 OSTRAVA, Czech Republic (AP) - Jamaican sprinter Asafa Powell won the 100 meters at the IAAF Super Grand Prix Golden Spike meet in 9.85 seconds on Thursday.
Powell ran his second fastest time of the year despite a cold rain. He ran a 9.84 on May 8 in Kingston.
"I was surprised about the time," Powell said. "The weather was so bad."
