ST. LOUIS (AP) - New York Yankees outfielder Hideki Matsui doesn't think his consecutive games streak is in jeopardy, even though he left Sunday's game with an injured right ankle.
The Yankees have a day off Monday before beginning a 13-game homestand on Tuesday. Matsui, who was hurt on his 31st birthday, expects to be in the lineup.
"I should be OK," Matsui said through an interpreter. "They took X-rays and everything was negative, so everything should be fine.
