CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Marie Ferdinand scored 18 points and rookie Katie Feenstra added 14 points and 11 rebounds as the San Antonio Silver Stars ended a four-game losing streak with a 64-49 victory over the Charlotte Sting on Thursday.
In a matchup of the teams with the two worst records in the WNBA, the Silver Stars (3-10) won despite 21 turnovers. The Sting (1-9) shot 38 percent and committed 19 turnovers.
Allison Feaster scored 11 points and Sheri Sam added 10 for the Sting, who have lost six straight.
