 MILWAUKEE (AP) - Milwaukee Brewers third baseman Jeff Cirillo broke a bone in his left hand when hit by a pitch from Minnesota Twins reliever Matt Guerrier in the eighth inning Friday night and will miss four to six weeks.
Cirillo was pinch hitting with the bases loaded. When he was hit, Damian Miller scored from third to give the Brewers a 3-1 lead.
"It didn't sound good when it hit," Milwaukee manager Ned Yost said.
