STOCKHOLM, Sweden (AP) - Swedish defense and aerospace company Saab AB said Tuesday its second quarter profit dropped 43 percent, mainly due to an order delay, while sales rose slightly.
Saab said its net profit was 154 million kronor ($19.6 million), or 1.48 kronor (16 cents) a share, for the quarter ended June 30, compared with 269 million kronor, or 2.43 kronor a share, in the second quarter last year.
Sales rose slightly to 4.61 billion kronor ($595 million) from 4.56 billion kronor last year.
