HONG KONG (AP) - FedEx Corp. said Wednesday it will spend $150 million on a second Asian hub in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou, adding to its existing regional center in the Philippines.
The new hub at Guangzhou's Baiyun International Airport is designed to better serve clients doing business in China, FedEx, the world's largest cargo airline, said in a statement.
It will contain floor space of 91,000 square feet on a 155-acre site and offer a handling capacity of 24,000 packages an hour, the company said.
