(AP Photo/ Louis Lanzano)NEW YORK (AP) - Three years after WorldCom collapsed in an epic accounting fraud, former CEO Bernard Ebbers — convicted earlier this year of orchestrating the debacle — is finally learning his fate.

Ebbers was due to face a federal judge in Manhattan on Wednesday and receive an almost certain prison term, with federal prosecutors suggesting he should be sent away for the rest of his life.
