KIEV, Ukraine (AP) - Lawyers for one of Ukraine's wealthiest men said Wednesday they were challenging the government's re-privatization of the country's biggest steel mill, citing what they said were violations in court procedures.
The government reclaimed a 93 percent stake in the Kryvorizhstal plant last month, after a court upheld an earlier ruling voiding Viktor Pinchuk and another tycoon's acquisition of the mill at an auction last year.
Pinchuk's lawyer Serhiy Vlasenko told a news conference that the courts had ignored several motions for what he said were violations of property laws and court procedure.
