LONDON (AP) - Share prices on the London Stock Exchange closed higher on Wednesday.
The FTSE 100-share index closed up 28.75 points, or 0.6 percent, at 5,245.9.
Provisional volume was 2.78 billion shares, compared with 2.75 billion shares Tuesday.
