 SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) - Becky Hammon made three 3-pointers and scored 15 points to lead the New York Liberty to a surprisingly easy 73-63 victory Friday night over the Sacramento Monarchs.
It was the second road win in two nights for the Liberty (10-9), who moved past Washington into second place in the Eastern Conference. New York won 80-70 at Phoenix on Thursday night.
New York converted 8-of-15 3-point attempts and shot 56 percent overall in winning in Sacramento for the first time since June 19, 2001.
