 CARSON, Calif. (AP) - Douglas Sequeira scored the only goal as Chivas USA defeated its first established Major League Soccer opponent with a 1-0 victory over the New England Revolution on Friday night.
Chivas USA's two other victories came against Real Salt Lake, the league's other expansion team.
"This is so big for us," Chivas defender Francisco Gomez said. "It just goes to show that we've been working hard for the past seven weeks, and it's just paying off."
