PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Emanuele Pirro took advantage of Dyson Racing's fuel pressure problems to win the American Le Mans Series' Portland Grand Prix on Saturday night.
Pirro, driving the No. 2 Audi, was trailing by 1.5 seconds with two laps to go when Dyson Racing's No. 16 Lola, driven by James Weaver, lost fuel pressure.
Chris Dyson and Andy Wallace, who teamed up in the pole-sitting No. 20 Dyson Racing Lola, finished second, about 10 seconds back on the 1.944-mile, 12-turn road course. Weaver and teammate Butch Leitzinger were third.
