 SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) - Jean Philippe Peguero's fourth goal of the season gave the Colorado Rapids a 1-1 tie with San Jose on Saturday night. San Jose (10-4-8) extended its Western Conference lead to three points over FC Dallas, which lost 2-1 to New England. The loss was Dallas' first home loss of the season, leaving San Jose (6-0-5) as the only remaining MLS team unbeaten at home.
The Rapids (7-11-4) remain in fourth place, behind Los Angeles, in the conference.
Colorado's Kyle Beckerman set up Peguero's tying goal in the 56th minute, when the Haitian forward beat defender Danny Califf and fired past goalkeeper Pat Onstad.
