MADRID, Spain (AP) - Image may well be everything for Major League Soccer when its All-Stars meet one of the world's most glamorous teams in Real Madrid.
"I don't know if we care about the result," U.S. star Landon Donovan told The Associated Press on Monday. "At the end of the day it doesn't matter. It's not like we're battling to get a 0-0 draw. We're going to go play and make the game fun."
Donovan has prospered with the Los Angeles Galaxy since ending an unhappy stay with Germany's Bayer Leverkusen in March. He is excited by the prospect of facing the nine-time European champions Tuesday for the Santiago Bernabeu Trophy.
