KAMPALA, Uganda (AP) - Uganda has ordered six Congolese men suspected of plotting to overthrow Congolese President Joseph Kabila's government to leave the country or face arrest, the interior minister said Wednesday.
The decision follows an Aug. 10 meeting between Congolese Vice President Azeria Ruberwa and Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni in the Ugandan capital, Kampala. In the meeting, Ruberwa talked of his government's concerns about 14 Congolese men who were in Uganda, Interior Minister Ruhakana Rugunda said.
Rugunda said eight men left before the expulsion order. The other six were given 48 hours to leave.
