BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (AP) - Rescue teams searched Monday for two Argentine men whose snowmobile plunged into a deep ice crevasse in Antarctica over the weekend, but hopes of pulling them out alive were fading.
Authorities said there had been no contact with the two since they fell into a 180-foot-deep crack in the ice Saturday. Defense Minister Jose Pampuro said there was "little chance" of finding them alive.
Three others who were exploring the region around Jubany research station with the pair were rescued by a Chilean military helicopter Sunday.
