PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (AP) - A 32-year-old mother of two is the new Mrs. America. Mrs. California Andrea Preuss won the national crown Sunday at the Riviera Resort & Racquet Club.
Preuss, of Huntington Beach, works as a district sales manager for pharmaceuticals giant Eli Lilly & Co. — but said her most important job is raising her children.
"As moms, if we give our children hope and self-esteem we'll see the whole range of social pathologies shrink to manageable proportions," she said in a statement released Monday.
