NEW YORK (AP) - The Rangers acquired left wing Marcel Hossa from the Montreal Canadiens on Friday for forward Garth Murray.
Hossa, whose older brother Marian was traded by Ottawa to Atlanta during the offseason for fellow All-Star Dany Heatley, has 10 goals and nine assists in 59 career NHL games — all with Montreal.
In five exhibition games this year, Marcel Hossa has two goals and four assists.
