KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Georgia passed one of its biggest tests of the season and appears to be headed toward the ending the Bulldogs hoped for a year ago.
Georgia saw its hopes for a trip to the Southeastern Conference championship dim after losing to Tennessee last year. The fifth-ranked Bulldogs turned the tables this time, beating the Volunteers 27-14 on Saturday.
Georgia remained at No. 5, while Tennessee fell nine spots to 17th in the latest AP poll released Sunday.
