(AP Photo/Chris Carlson)ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - Count on Konerko. It's something the White Sox have done all season and still are, one big reason they're two wins away from their first World Series since 1959.

Paul Konerko led the way offensively Friday night, homering in the first inning to get the White Sox off to a fast start and finishing with three hits and three RBIs to pace Chicago to a 5-2 win over the Angels and a 2-1 lead in the ALCS.

"When you're on the road before a big crowd that's rowdy and into it, it's always good to get on the board, even with a run in the first," Konerko said.
