TORONTO (AP) - Nortel Networks Corp. said Monday it has appointed Mike S. Zafirovski, a former Motorola Inc. executive, as president and chief executive.
The Canadian supplier of networking equipment said Zafirovski will succeed Bill Owens on Nov. 15.
Zafirovski, 51, has had a 30-year career with General Electric Co. and Motorola.
