ATLANTA (AP) - Internet service provider EarthLink Inc. said earnings in the latest quarter fell, as it continued to lose dial-up subscribers to broadband.
The Atlanta-based company Thursday said it earned $36.4 million, or 27 cents a share, on revenue of $317 million in the third quarter.
Analysts were expecting earnings of 23 cents a share, according to Thomson Financial.
