VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) - Daniel Sedin scored twice and the Vancouver Canucks withstood Colorado's furious charge in the final 3 minutes to hang on for a 6-4 victory over the Avalanche on Saturday night.
Brad May and Patrice Brisebois scored 17 seconds apart, and Alex Tanguay added a power play goal with 1:45 left to close the gap to 5-4, but it wasn't enough for an Avalanche team that has lost four of its last five games.
Antti Laaksonen also scored for Colorado, playing for the second straight night.
