BEIJING (AP) - The World Bank said Thursday it expects China's economy to grow by 9.3 percent this year, raising its forecast by 0.3 percentage point amid strong domestic demand and surging exports.
It was the third time this year the bank has raised its forecast for China's economic growth, following predictions of 9 percent in August and 8.3 percent in April.
The bank cited stronger-than-expected domestic demand for the upward change.
