PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - The Big East Conference gave commissioner Mike Tranghese a five-year contract extension that will keep him on the job through 2010.
Tranghese has been commissioner since 1990.
The extension was finalized at the league's annual presidents meeting Tuesday in Philadelphia.
