NEW YORK (AP) - Shares of Sanmina-SCI Corp. rose sharply Friday as the electronics-services company's strong report for its latest quarter suggested that its operations, which have seen a couple of restructurings, may be stabilizing.
The shares jumped 75 cents, or 20 percent, to close at $4.41 on the Nasdaq Stock Market.
The stock, which at one time traded above $60 during the Internet bubble, has spent most of the past three years under $10 and last week dropped to $3.45, a two-and-a-half-year low.
