NEW YORK (AP) - Oil prices fell to their lowest level in nearly four months Thursday as supply worries continued to wane.
The front-month December crude contract on the New York Mercantile Exchange dropped $1.13 to close at $57.80 a barrel, the lowest level for a front-month contract since late July.
Petroleum products fell just as hard. December gasoline on the Nymex slipped 4.45 cents to finish at $1.5068 a gallon. December heating oil dropped 4.61 cents to close at $1.7435 a gallon.
