 ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) - It has taken Jeremy Van Alstyne two years to play more than he did as a redshirt freshman at Michigan.
Injuries to both knees, a foot and a hamstring have plagued his career, making the defensive end an expert at recovering from setbacks.
"That's how my career has been," Van Alstyne said. "It's been a battle with ups and downs."
