OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - Adonal Foyle scored the go-ahead basket with 48.9 seconds left, then grabbed a crucial rebound on the other end, and the Golden State Warriors survived a frantic final minute to beat Brown's winless Knicks 86-84 on Friday night.
Baron Davis stripped the ball from Jamal Crawford on the Knicks' final possession, and New York didn't even get a shot off to try to tie it.
Brown, in his first season with his hometown team, patted Golden State's Mike Dunleavy on the behind and high-tailed it out of the arena while the Warriors celebrated and his Knicks gathered at midcourt for a team meeting.
