PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) - Paul Martinez made a 19-yard field goal with a second left to give No. 11 Oregon a 34-31 victory over Washington State on Saturday night.
The Ducks (9-1, 6-1 Pac-10) scored three straight touchdowns in the third quarter to come back from an 11-point deficit, before Washington State (3-7, 0-7) came back to tie it late in the fourth.
Ducks quarterbacks Dennis Dixon and Brady Leaf combined for 296 yards passing and two TDs as Oregon rolled up 444 yards of offense, preserving hopes for Bowl Championship Series consideration.
