BERKELEY, Calif. (AP) - With a Heisman Trophy winning quarterback, two 1,000-yard rushers and a pair of game-breaking receivers, Southern California's offense is generally regarded as one of the best in college football history.
That's why it comes as little surprise that when critics find faults with the top-ranked Trojans, they look to the other side of the ball.
USC's defenders have heard the talk all season: They aren't physical enough, they give up too many big plays, their ranks have been depleted by injuries and the NFL.
