 LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) - Seimone Augustus had 32 points and 13 rebounds to lead No. 3 LSU to a 76-68 victory over No. 13 Texas Tech in the Tip-Off Classic on Sunday.
Augustus scored nine of LSU's final 14 points after Tech had tied the score at 62 with about 3 minutes remaining.
The Lady Raiders (0-1) led for most of the game until they went scoreless on six possessions midway through the second half. Meanwhile, Augustus hit a shot from the corner and Scholanda Hoston made a 3-pointer to put the Lady Tigers (1-0) ahead 46-43 with 13:55 remaining.
