 COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - The line of Craig Conroy, Alexander Frolov and Pavol Demitra got the Los Angeles Kings off to a quick start against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Frolov scored three goals in the opening 12:35 — on a power play, at even strength and short-handed — Conroy also had a hat trick and Demitra had four assists to lead the Kings to an 8-2 victory on Sunday.
"It was a great game for our team," Frolov said after his first career hat trick. "It doesn't happen very often — we're just really excited about it, especially our line."
Conroy added two assists in the second three-goal game of his career and Frolov had one assist. Eric Belanger and Michael Cammalleri also scored goals for the Kings.
