COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - The line of Craig Conroy, Alexander Frolov and Pavol Demitra got the Los Angeles Kings off to a quick start against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Frolov scored three goals in the opening 12:35 on a power play, at even strength and short-handed Conroy also had a hat trick and Demitra had four assists to lead the Kings to an 8-2 victory on Sunday.
"It was a great game for our team," Frolov said after his first career hat trick. "It doesn't happen very often we're just really excited about it, especially our line."
Conroy added two assists in the second three-goal game of his career and Frolov had one assist. Eric Belanger and Michael Cammalleri also scored goals for the Kings.
