LOS ANGELES (AP) - Shares of Valeant Pharmaceuticals International rose Friday after investors and analysts took a second look at the company's acquisition of hepatitis drug Infergen.
Valeant shares climbed $1.36, or 8.3 percent, to close at $17.82 on the New York Stock Exchange.
Monday, Valeant, of Costa Mesa, Calif., said it agreed to acquire the U.S. and Canadian rights to Infergen from InterMune Inc.
