DENVER (AP) - A man accused of shooting Marc Cohn as he tried to carjack the singer-songwriter's tour van pleaded innocent Monday to an attempted murder charge.
Joseph Yacteen, 26, is accused of firing a gun Aug. 7 into a van carrying Cohn's band in a Denver parking garage.
Cohn, whose hit "Walking in Memphis" helped get him a Grammy in 1991, was shot in the temple, and his driver-tour manager, Thomas Dube, was grazed by a bullet. Both were treated and released from a hospital.
