LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - On a day the Kentucky men's basketball team squeaked out a victory over Arkansas, the loudest roars at Rupp Arena came when the women's team was paraded onto the court during a timeout.
Those Wildcats, who cracked the Top 25 Monday for the first time since 1993, have been the talk of the town since their stunning victory Thursday over then-No. 1 Tennessee.
The next day, construction workers outside Memorial Coliseum, where the men's team made so much history, were discussing basketball women's basketball.
