OSLO, Norway (AP) - The world's largest newsprint maker, Norske Skog, said Friday it lost 997 million kroner ($151 million) for the fourth quarter of 2005 due partly to restructuring costs.
The Norwegian group also said 2005 had been weaker than usual, with a net loss of 854 million kroner ($129 million) but that prospects for 2006 were better.
The corresponding figures for 2004 were a net profit of 193 million kroner for the fourth quarter and a net loss of 621 million kroner for the year.
