UNIONDALE, N.Y. (AP) - New York Islanders goalie Garth Snow returned from a knee injury Monday night and served as Rick DiPietro's backup against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Snow missed 14 games after spraining the medial collateral ligament in both knees. He was injured with 8.5 seconds left in regulation in the Islanders' 4-3 overtime win against Florida on Jan. 4.
At the time, the 36-year-old Snow was filling in for DiPietro, who was out with an injury.
