 BLACKSBURG, Va. (AP) - Monique Currie overcame foul trouble to score 21 points in No. 2 Duke's 73-62 victory over Virginia Tech on Monday night.
The Blue Devils (21-1, 8-1 Atlantic Coast Conference), in their first game since losing to No. 1 North Carolina eight days ago, led 39-25 at halftime and built their lead as high as 20 points as they cruised through the final 20 minutes.
Mistie Williams had 13 of her 16 points in the second half for Duke, which lost 74-70 to the Tar Heels on Jan. 29.
