OTTAWA (AP) - Everybody has been beating the Pittsburgh Penguins lately, and slumping goalie Ray Emery was no different.
The Ottawa rookie got his first win in more than a month, Peter Schaefer had two goals and an assist, and the Senators extended Pittsburgh's losing streak to six games with a 5-2 win over the Penguins on Monday night.
Emery made 22 saves for his first victory since a 4-3 win over the New York Islanders on Dec. 30. Emery, who set an NHL record Nov. 29 with his ninth straight win to begin his career, had allowed 17 goals while being pulled from two of his last three starts, all losses.
